Medjy Pierre-Louis

I hold a PhD from the School of Education at the University of Colorado-Boulder, where I studied in the Research and Evaluation Methodology Program. I specialize in educational statistics and assessments, with a particular emphasis on classroom assessment strategies. I also work in international development on projects related to data management, systems building, and learning assessment in fragile, conflict-affected, and vulnerable (FCV) settings. My approach to my work is rooted in a desire to identify culturally-relevant, equitable solutions to complex educational challenges. I leverage both quantitative and qualitative research methods to identify patterns and nuance in student learning experiences. I combine these technical skills with my practical experiences working with district, state, and international institutions to design evidence-based programs and strategies aimed at improving learning.
